To the blasphemers:

There are those who love and respect their God so much that they do not speak His name without honoring Him.  They do not draw pictures of His Prophet.  It is considered obscene.  It is an insult to do so.

But there are those who insist on painting a picture of Him.  This picture is vile.  It is offensive – terrible – causing intense suffering.  It depicts Him as mindlessly violent, as murderous and terrible.  It depicts Him as willing to kill, even the innocent, at the slightest provocation.  It is an affront to millions who love Him.  Yet, those who have painted this picture are unrepentant.  They see themselves as righteous.

This picture was not drawn by Danes, scribbled by atheists, or tweeted.

It was painted with blood,

for all to see and witness its cruelty.

As we read the news feeds and watch the television shows and see the bodies of the dead pile up, the picture they paint becomes clearer and clearer.

We’re left to wonder if the physical pictures on paper and film lack creativity, are simply derivative, as we witness the true originators of this unforgivable blasphemy, composed of brush strokes of slaughtered free thinkers, child-bride chattel, and hanged homosexuals – and the lives of those who simply stood in range.

“Well, what happened there is, of course—now all of you must adjust your brains—the biggest work of art there has ever been.”
